Question about Video Cameras
I cant seem to get my jvc to upload to my computer. Im using a 4 pin to 4 pin dv cable plugged into my hp pavillion entertainment pc with windows vista. went into windows movie maker and it wouldnt recognize my jvc...any help appreciated.
I am not sure. But I believe the camcorder has to be on when you connect to the computer.
and I assume you use firewire for this particular camcorder.
I too once had this problem when I used Windows Vista. If you too use Vista, try it with Windows XP.

Please go to the following link to download the drivers and manual for your JVC GR-D370.
After you install the drivers you would be able to download and view them on your PC.
If you would like to touch the pictures or make major changes you should consider buying additional software.Good Luck!!!!!!

As I understand it your computer needs either a firewire port or a 4 or 6 pin DV port depending on what type of connector is on the computer end of the DV cable you purchased.
