Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My HP hard drive crashed,by virus. Was desperate and pulled my hard drive from Dell desktop that motherboard fried on. Of course non of product keys won't work from HP or Dell.Options?

restore the hp drive using the restore partition
restore the hp with the original disks if you have them
try to remove the viruses from hp drive
the dell drive would have all the drivers for everything on the dell
the product keys should work if you have the operating system on the sticker. download the windows version from microsoft on usb stick or burn dvd and reinstall it, if you don't have the disks

I did an installation and after the installation the sound did not come.

Try removing your sound card drivers restart system and re-install them if this does not work then it sounds like the virus has not been completely terminated with the method you have tried as just reinstalling without fdisk and format is just writing the information over the top of the virus and not removing it.. My suggestion is to fix this is, fdisk your hard disk and reset the MBR ( Master Boot Record ) and to repartition you hard disk format the drive this is a must before you can use the hard disk again and then try a re-install of your O.S and all drivers for your system. If this has worked then great you should be clean and clear, If by the off chance that it does not fix the problem then it is a case of using a virus scanner of some sort to disinfect the virus. I personally use Norton 360 Version 6 and find it very helpful with viruses etc. If after all this and the problem still exists it could very well be that the virus is attacking your hardware and these are the most dangerous form of virus you can get as they slowly but surely take control of your hardware and without professional removal it will eventually render your system completely useless. I hope this helps.

Dell531 has virus no start up screen

For XP: http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/DSN_181316?c=us&s=dhs&cs=19&l=en

Go to step 3.

End users to completely remove malicious code removing the partition, reinstalling it, reformatting the hdd and reinstalation of the o.s. is the only and best way to get rid of malicious code.

I have found that if the problem persists and is indeed an infection sometimes it will take 3 or more total reinstalls to completely get rid of it.

Run the Norton Removal Tool to remove your Norton Anti Virus:

Norton Removal Tool

And then install Norton Anti Virus 2011 and activate it with your 2008 Product Key:

Norton Anti Virus 2011

When you say you have problems with a lot of Virus then install in safe mode and do there a full scan.

All my printers cords are plugged in correctly but as i go to print it says that the printer isn't communicating with the computer, I've tried everything that they suggest and nothing seems to work.

uninstal all of the printer software if your down loading drivers from the web download and save to your desk top. disconnect from the web disable your anti virus software and firewall. then run the install from your desktop. follow the same steps if your using a disk anti virus and firewall disabled. alot of these software programs see all in one drivers as virus like activity and wont allow a complete install.

Security adware virus Multiple virus programs (webroot/norton/etc) have been unable to completly remove this virus. I have a Dell Inspiron 520 with Vista 64-bit. Thanks

If MalwareBytes Anti-Malware tool and Avast anti-virus boot scan do not rid your system of the virus, you may have to remove the hard drive from the infected computer and using an adapter, attach it to another computer such as a laptop or another desktop. The adapter attaches to the hard drive and then uses a usb for the interface. They can be bought at computer stores for around 20 bucks. Once you have attached the infected drive, double click on the "My Computer" icon and then right click on the infected drive icon. Scroll down until you see the selection for either "scan with MalwareBytes" or "Scan with Avast". ONce these scans are complete, replace the hard drive back into the original system. Another great scanner is Super AntiSpyware. All these are free downloads at www.filehippo.com

Remove any previously installed Spyware programs / download Malwarebytes Anti malware update off internet / disable Antivirus program and install.

Go to safe mode and access Malwarebytes / run through and remove all offending programs. Run a couple of times. Then reboot and run in windows.

My mouse keeps freezing

Blue screen is not a good sign at all. It can man alot of things, the driver is not right, you have a virus on your computer, or someone is in your computer. I would go and get and good firewall program or use xp or vista firewall. If that doesn't work then you do have virus. I would do a complete refresh on the system longest you have the recovery disk.

Cursor freezes in my 18mo old Dell msouse

This type of mouse does not take batteries.

There can be a lot of problems for the mouse freezing, but the first and best one is to try is a malware (virus) scan. Click here to download a free malwarebytes scan. The is a scan I use because it finds alot. Dont scan with your virus scan that you already have on your computer, because if you have malware or virus on your system your virus program already missed it. Make sure to run the quick scan and when it pick up any infected files make sure you removed them. Reboot you system and then you should be all set after that. I hope this works!
