I have a problem reconnecting Nuvi 765T GPS to Blackberry automatically. Every time there is a message on the phone "Do you want to connect to Nuvi" "yes" or "no". Is there any way to avoid it? May be another GPS will do it?

Thats the problem it thinks the shortest route is the way it is doing it... switch mode back to normal. NOT shortest route.

Disconnect the unit from your computer, then reconnect it and it should recognise your sat-nav

go to programmes and look for Garmin, see if that has a programme called "web updater" if it has remove it (uninstall) then go to garmin.com and reinstall web updater when done reconnect gps and follow instructions

You need to download and install the Garmin WebUpdater and Garmin Communicator Plugin both available from Garmin's website onto your computer. This allows updates to be installed directly to the 765T and provides the necessay USB drivers as well. The 765T must be connected to your computer when performing all updates or upgrades.

You may need to create a MyGarmin account and register your Nuvi 765T.

Resetting the 765T: with the unit off, press your thumb or finger in the lower right corner of the screen while turning the 765T on. This will clear all user data, base map software will remain intact. Connect 765T to computer and proceed with the Garmin WebUpdater.

Resetting the Garmin Nuvi 765T: Press and hold your thumb or finger in the lower right hand corner of the screen while powering the unit on. This will erase all USER data, base and detailed maps will remain intact.

Connect your Garmin Nuvi 765T to your computer via USB.
Download Garmin's Communicator plugin and WebUpdater, both applications can be downloaded from their site. By doing so, this will load the necessary USB drivers to your computer, allowing the Garmin Nuvi to communicate and update firmware and software via the plugin and WebUpdater.

On Vista, the Nuvi 765T appears as Garmin Nuvi without the "T" as well, (a blue triangular icon also appears) it does not affect the ability to transfer files or explore the device in any way. If you load an SD card into the Nuvi 765T, it will appear as a removeable disk and assign it a drive letter, in my case H:
