@ wheatlandsvc: Can you recommend a service repair person in Seattle who can order and install parts for the XC1255? My printer also jams halfway through a print, and the toner on the jammed paper is not fused. The paper stops right before the roller. You just responded to someone else with the same problem, indicating that it is likely a broker fuser drive gear. Thank you so much!

I would look in your local yellow pages under copier service or copiers in general. Try and find an independant service company or single individual. Specifically you can ask if they have any experience with either your Xerox XC1255, or with the Sharp Z series. Your Xerox is a Sharp Z 800 series copier with Xerox's name on the front. If your issue is the gear which is very likely then they are readily available from Precisionroller.com part# H5100 or they can Google search for Sharp Part# NGERH0540FCZ3
A good price range for this repair is in the $100 range parts and labor.
