To change the language on the Dell 922's display, turn on the printer, then press and hold the Power and Cancel buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds. The language choices will then scroll across the LCD press the up or down arrow key till english appears, then click Menu.

if you have restored the printer to an earlier date , make sure that the printer drivers are still installed on your computer . Click on start and then click on run . type " control printer " , and then look for the printer icon Dell AIO 926 and check for the Status as Ready , if it is offline then right click on the icon and click on " use printer Online" and also look for the Check mark on the printer Icon. right click on the printer and then click on cancel all the documents , restart the computer and then power cycle the printer disconnect and reconnect the printer cable and then try printing a testpage...

SOURCE: dell 922 printer all in one
I have a Dell 942, and I also ran into problems scanning. Basically, the Dell "All In One Center" refused to open, and when the printer generates a scan, it tries to send it to that application. What worked for me was uninstalling Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Once I was back to IE6, my Dell printer functioned normally. Upgrading to IE7 immediately "broke" it again.
I discovered this after running a repair installation of Windows (a recommended action any time you start experiencing weird problems). I did not have to format my hard drive or lose any data, although some applications had to be reinstalled or re-patched afterward. But the repair install took me back to IE6, and magically, my printer suddenly worked again! When I went to the Microsoft Update site and upgraded to IE7, poof! Dell AIO Center would no longer open, and I couldn't scan.
