Windows7 natively blocks unsigned drivers unlike Xp which gives you an option 7 does it silently preventing the installation of these drivers, making the device you want to install useless
Disable signature verification of drivers;

  • Start Menu /Run, and type the following command: bcdedit /set nointegritychecks ON
  • Restart the PC and install the unsigned driver.
  • ----------------------------------------------------
  • Note that it is highly recommended to re-enable the signature verification of drivers.
  • ------------------------------------------------------
  • Start Menu /Run, and type the following command:
  • bcdedit /set nointegritychecks OFF
Restart your PC.

My sound has stop working how can I get it back

Have you recently upgraded from a lower version of Windows? If you have, the computer might have been made especially for Windows XP (for example) and certain things aren't compatible with your computer. If you haven't and you bought the computer with Windows 7, either make sure your sound is on, try some additional speakers, or contact the seller. Hope this helps. Get back in touch. Steven :D

I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 on my IXTREME/GOLD S 1919 PC but cannot find the sound drivers to download. Please advise

I suspect that as this is a very old desktop unit you will not find them unless the audio chip manufacturer supports windows 7 32/64 bit?
If you know what audio chip is being used then try the website to see if there are compatible win 7 drivers.

I recently updated to windows 7 from vista. im having loads of problems with my intel chipset with integrated graphics...i got the windows 7 drivers for it already and im still having problems idk if its...

You'll need to access the computer manufacturer's support site to find the appropriate 64-bit driver for this chipset. If you post the make/model of computer I can probably assist with that.

Hope that's helpful.

Samsung Q35 notebook with Windows 7 , no sound and sony card read

Find the manufacturer of those devices and go to the manufacturer website and download the windows 7 drivers. There probabbly aren't any.
Windows 7 will use vista driver if upgrading, but not with fresh installs.
purchase driver magician and run the update feature.
