Question about Stoves 900DFa Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range
I have a Stoves 900DFa dual-fuel cooker. When using the oven, it comes on, gets up to temperature, works as normal for 10-20 minutes (with red "heating" light coming on/off as expected) and then completely cuts out. Any thoughts as to what the problem could be?
The most probable cause is failure in your panel cooling fan 9not the one inside your oven)
If the appliance switches on again after 15 - 20 minutes then the fault is most likely here.
Unfortunately as you have gas the you will need a Gas Safe Certified engineer to repair

Yes it the upper cooling panel fan - if no air blowing out of gap at top of door. This causes the overheat switch to operate and shut off the power until its cooled down. It could be the fan itself, or a pcb that controls (back panel middle left) or there is a resistor which can burn out on the fan power supply. Take off back panel and you can see it all in front of you. Its not a gas safe issue -only a competent electrical person you need - not difficult. Parts from espares.
