Question about Kodak Picture Maker Kiosk Printer

Our Kodak Kiosk will not send the order to our Noritsu 3011. Order is in queue waiting to send but shows error. Message on the screen says Temporarily unable to send this job to the lab. It will automatically be retried.

    We have a Kodak Picture Maker G3 Kiosk and it is posting an error and will not send the images to our Noritsu 3011. The prints are waiting in the queue and the screen reads "Temporarily unable to send this job to the lab. It will automatically be retried." We have PMv 4.1 installed. Please help, we need this Kiosk running!

    The Kiosk is connected to our Noritsu 3011 via a cord which travels through our store ceiling and then goes into the back of our 3011. There is no visible connection - no USB connection.

    We are running Windows 2000 and our Kiosk is connected to a Noritsu 3011. We are not connected to a network. We have old an old version 4.1 software.

Initially I thought it might be held up as a WIP (work in progress) job, which would require operator intervention to release. But now it seems more like the connection between the kiosk and the Noritsu is lost. I'd try the basic step of shutting the kiosk down and then rebooting it - if the connection is ethernet-based, which (if memory serves) it is, this could solve the issue. The "retry" message is usually due to loss of network connectivity between the two units.

Let me know if this doesn't solve your issue, there may be a few other things to try depending on the results of the above...

the software is actually got corrupted.not whole software but some required files are actually got missing in the software.just click this link directly and reinstall the software.select the exact software as per your operating system http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-locale=en_US&pq-path=3118 if you have the software cd with you.then directly reinstall the software.after deleting the current software which is actually in your system.
Update 421 Noritsu QSS 3011/3010 with KODAK DLS Software 2.1 LP ... This will be a problem for any KODAK device running WINDOWS 2000 and .... Software Updates must be installed in a sequential order, but not all Updates are required. ... Enables a manual release of network and kiosk orders submitted through the system.

Sounds like a communication issue with the printer. If the printer plugs into the workstation with a USB cable, try plugging the printer into a different USB port. Also, try restarting the kiosk. Please let me know if this works for you! Good Luck!

Waiting for printer to become available error


Is this the error message you are getting? If so, it looks like that there is a long queue waiting to be printed and there is some error. So you have to check the printing queue and delete all and it should show '0' waiting at the printing queue.

How do I resolve the error message "System status failed" (error code 3807)?
  1. Disconnect the power adapter from the printer.
  2. Wait 30 seconds to allow the printer to reset.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the printer. Turn the printer on if necessary
If the error continues:
  1. Open the printer access door.
  2. Remove and install the printhead two times.
  3. Close the printer access door.
  4. Wait until the printer is ready to use.
If the error is resolved, upgrade your printer firmware:
  1. Locate and select the firmware for your printer.

When ever am sending a picture message, It says the message queue is full.Try removing items from your pending folder.


Hi, please delete the unsent or sent Pictures messages stored in the Sent items of your phone in order to send more picture messages. When the phone Memory becomes full the phone cannot store anymore picture messages to send. Hence please delete the pictures messages (MMS) in the sent items of Multimedia Message Sent items.

A beeping every few minutes with a message of sending error. We can not get it to stop.


All you will need to do is locate the queue of outgoing faxes and clear them out. In order to do this, you must go to: Menu, Fax and Remaining Jobs. It is here where you can identify the outgoing fax and delete.

My kodak E 9 showed the message "detected new printhead, put plain paper in the try and press start." I did that and then this came "Error Code 3802."I have disconncected power, etc. and the thing starts...

through my experience this is a printhead error message. Make sure that the printhead is seated correctly in the printer. If the error persists all you need is a new printhead. Contact Kodak under 1-800-421-6699 or go through the Interactive Step-by-Step Solutions tool under www.kodak.com/go/itg. Choose All-in-one printer - Print quality - Problem is not listed and follow the steps, then you come on a site where you can order a new printhead for free.

We just got a new hard drive for our Kodak Kiosk. It will not print pictures now, it says, "error contact store employee: PM V5.2-AppMgr-737-0


You need to contact a trained employee or call Kodak Service. There should be a sticker on the equipment with Kodak's phone number and K number.

Unable to send text messages


Generally if the phone is giving a "cannot send" or "message failed" error message then there is something wrong with the "switch" In order to fix this you need to contact your providers tech support and they should be able to fix the issue...

You can also try sending the picture to your own number... sometimes that will help push it through the switch...

Also make sure that you are using the area code of the numbers that you are sending it to...

Alltel for example, will not let the message go through if the area code is not inserted

this may be a dumb question what print driver are you using? ufr ps pcl. and is it loaded on the copier ?
