This happened to me using a Dell Inspiron laptop. The wireless switch was disabled and the answer was supposed to use both the blue Fn and regular F2 function key to enable wireless connection. I tried Fn and F2 together and it did not work. I tried just F2 alone and it worked.
boot and press F2 got to the menu comes up and go to display part in thath where you can increase the display brightness or press Fn+F5 key while you are in ur OS
