You cant, you have to buy an dstti card, a dstt card will not work in a dsi.

R4 revolution ds

If you have a DSi with an R4 Upgrade V1.4 Revolution for DS then it is enough. If there is some problem while playing it or an any kind of error message then you should check it out again. But R4 3DS is a very good and famous game.

I have brought a new dsi and it wont play my r4 card?

If you have an ordinary r4 card then it WILL NOT play in any DSi. To play your games now you will have to purchase an r4i card compatible with v1.4.1. I got mine at for 10 bucks. Its from r4i sdhc(original) team who are constantly upgrading the software to allow AP bypassing and fix other bugs. If you are happy with r4 then this defo is the best alternative for you. There are other cards out there considered better but since using r4 series I think they are the most user friendly and upgradable. Its a matter of taste at the end of the day. Hope this helps.

First The dsi readed the ttds(i) card but it wouldn't start, now it even doesn't show up. i think it is because i already upgraded the dsi, but now i dont know how to solve this problem.

Hello ruben,

There are two types of dstt cards one that will play on a normal Ds lite etc and the other that will play on all including the dsi.

If you check on the sticker of the dstt card it will tell you what it is compatible to use with.

If this is a Dstt(i) card then it does not load the same way as your used to it loads up and then you must click on the sd memory option then it will load your normal TT menu screen.

Hope this has helped you out.

Have just updated my DSi and now my R4i card will not work. Any suggestions?

download the file and follow instructions, you will need a non update DSi or a DS Lite to upgrade your R4. Never update until the cart markers have found a fix because all update will try block 3rd party contents
