How do I get out of safe mode on my dell vastro 2521?

Once you have solved the problem that sets it in "safe mode", you can reboot the computer into normal mode.

Look in the Control Panel.
Pick device manager and look for a yellow balloon, which will show why it is still in safe mode.

If your computer is restarting only in safe mode, please start it in Safe mode with networking mode. Scan it with superantispyware free version.
If not fixed, please run antivirus removal tool.

ACER ASPIRE 5532 LOCKED UP, WON'T GO PAST THE "ACER empowering people" logo at startup. press f2 and it says "please wait" then won't do anything else. Pressing f12 to change start-up...

1. Turn the Laptop off 2. Remove the battery 3. Disconnect the AC adapter from the laptop 4. Disconnect any peripheral devices from the laptop such as printer usb cables, PCMCIA cards etc. 5. Push and hold the power button for 60 seconds then let go 6. Connect the AC adapter to your laptop 7. Push power button to turn on the laptop 8. If this resolves the issue shutdown the laptop connect the battery and turn laptop back on
If issue is not resolved restart the computer and begin tapping the F8 key repeatedly until you see a screen that gives you options to enter different modes. Highlight "Safemode" and press enter. If the computer boots completely into safemode you likely have a driver that has corrupted or a hardware device that has failed. Likely driver failures are video card drivers. Got to Device Manager and uninstall the video card driver and restart the system. You can do this with other drivers as well.

Upon startup requests password then fails to load 'youre settings' and therefore becomes inopperable. Please advise

reboot the system and press F8 it will got windows advanced option safe mode and log on to the safe mode.don't actually need the admin pwd.go to control panel and change the password .issue will be resolved if this is related to password.
if still doesn't safe mode go to start run and type msconfig.go to start up tab and disable all and then try and reboot.if that works fine.again go to safe mode enable all start up items and try disabling each item and will get to know that which one is causing the issue and keep it turned off.

Black screen

- I had the exact same problem with a eMachines W340UA and other machines. I'm not sure what this does, but I resolved it by booting into Safe-Mode. Upon successful boot into Safe-Mode (without Networking), I restarted the computer in the normal mode and it for then after worked. Please try this; though I can make no logical statement as to what occurrs or what gets fixed, I have had this method work on several machines.

Fire up the machine, after BIOS postings, continually press the F8 key. From the list of startup options, choose "Safe Mode (Without Networking). It should boot up in this mode.
After the successful boot, restart the machine and allow it to boot in normal mode. If all goes as it has for me, you will successfuly boot into Windows.
P.S: If anyone knows where the coin battery is on an eMachines w340ua laptop, and hot to get to it, please let me know. Thank you and I hope this helps!
