Hi, the mobile phone should be within the 12month contract so you should be able to get it repaired free from three, secondly 3 network ONLY users 3G network coverage so for the sim to work it has to be 1. Unlocked 2. Support 3G reception. Just reply with the make/model of the phone and i will confirm its compatibility for you.

Hope this helps

My sim card will not work in my phone. Can you help me unlock my phone so my sim card will work in it? It is a Panasonic EB-GD55 cell phone & it's IMEI # is 352577001990234 Will you help me...

From the description of your problem, your phone is mostly likely a contract phone. A contract phone is one that is locked and designed to work with only a particular network and would work with no other SIM card belonging to another network unless it is unlocked.
It is important for you to know that there are many complications involved in unlocking a contract phone and using it with other networks. This is due to the fact that no contract phone can be unlocked 100% and so there tends to be conflict between the phone and the new SIM card.
These problems range from network failure to phone auto off.
If you still wish to forge ahead to unlock the phone, the only way you can do this without causing damage to your phone is to send it to a repairer or unlocker and he would help you open the phone usually for a small fee.
Also, there are some online websites that offer this service in return for payments made with a credit card. Let me know if you need the links to this website.

Hi there,
The contract that was set between you and 3 was for the usage of the telephone company's services, the handset was given to you, to use for the duration of the contract, which is locked to 3.

If you have completed your contract, it only means the contract with 3 for the services is finished and that the phone still is locked to 3.
Check the 3 website, it says "If you want to unlock your handset, a fee may apply. The amount of the fee will depend upon whether you are a Pre-Paid or Post-Paid customer and what plan you are currently on".
So legally, 3 can charge you if you want to unlock your phone, even if it is out of contract, since you have agreed to the contract and T&A set out within.
It's up to you to either pay 3's agreed unlocking price for the handset or go to another mobile phone repair shop and try to get a cheaper price.
Unfortunately 3 seems to be the only service provider that is a bit extreme and unfair with their post paid handsets. I know that from previous experience, other service providers gladly unlock their handsets for free after the contract is finished or even during the course of the contract (usually free after 6 months through the contract).
Hope I have been of any help/assistance to you,
Cheers :)

3 sim card

First you should get the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) from the box your phone came in. Give it to network 3. That will stop anyone else using it.
Then buy another phone with or without network lock.
The network 3 contract is still binding, whether you use them or not you have to pay them the minimum fee until the end of the contract.
Network 3 will lock it to their network, to make it work.
The other way is to have two phones.
