Question about Pioneer PDP-4350HD 43 in. Plasma Television

Pioneer PDP-RX06XE has no picture

I have a Pioneer PDP-R06XE media receiver connected to a PDP-436XPE.
When I switch the unit on every thing looks normal, no errors. The problem is nothing is been displayed, no menus,no picture. If i unplug the system cables the plasma flashes the red and blue squares as it should. Changing the input source makes the screen flash but no picture or menus
The unit was working fine until we moved buildings, any suggestions???

Maybe problems with I.R. receiver. Are you near a well lit window? Try covering sensor with black tape to block light.

Lock control program after open cover lid of Pioneer PDP434 PG

If you had power this set on with the back off it will not work without closing the switch again and entering serv mode and reactvating . Call pioneer customer serv to get info to reset the unit. Must have pioneer remote to do this reset.

Pioneer plasma media receiver problem

The Pioneer multi media reciever box is only serviceable from the manufacture. They should have authorized service reps that they equiped to do service for Pioneer devices. They normaly change boards to service it. The regular service man would only be able to fix a simple cold solder connecton or fix some other simple part of it.

Contact the place where you bought it to find out about servicing it. You may find it cheaper and easier to simply replace it completely. It is very possible that there is no service support for this box. Get an estimate before accepting to service it.

Most of the small electronics of today are throw-away anyways...

Can I use media receiver PDP-R04U with PDP-436PU display?

You need the pioneer media cables hooked up to the media receiver to the plasma unit itself. each end has 2 different plugs. one has 2 thumb screws and the other is a squeezable end that clicks into place. They MUST be on before you plug in any power what so ever!!!! And yes, other information is being passed through.
