How to change the light bulb in kelvinator fridge

yes it can, if you can find an LED bulb with color temp of 3000-3400 degress kelvin would be a good choice. If that is not bright enough look for daylight temp around 5000 degrees kelvin

Barbara: You can remove the globe and replace the light bulb with an appliance light bulb. If it still doesn't work, try wriggling the socket a little bit with the light bulb in place (so you don't get shocked). If it STILL does not work, yes, a socket can be replaced and rewiring can be done.

I have Samsung American fridge RS21FCNS and need to change light in the fridge

It sounds like you have a cyclic defrost fridge,Kelvinators were originally fitted with heat assist thermostats,so in order for the fridge to come back on a yellow wire heater was run around the cooling evaporator in the fridge compartment start running again at approx +4C so when the element fused the fridge did not start again until approx +12C.So instead of replacing heater a different thermo was used that came back on at +4c deg regardless.Kind Regards.

If you have the manual.... check under leveling your appliance.
I don't know Kelvinator but most have screws/bolts that can be turned behind the air vent cover at the bottom front of the fridge that will raise or lower the fridge. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Your best bet is to remove the light bulb and take it to a light bulb specialty store. They will be able to match one up for you.

YOU MAY HAVE A BAD LIGHT BULB, SOCKET OR LIGHT SWITCH. TRY WIGGLING THE SWITCH TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN THE BULB INTENSITY. IF NO CHANGE, TRY REPLACING THE LIGHT BULB. IF NO CHANGE, THE SOCKET NEEDS REPLACED.
