Question about Televison & Video
I need a manual for my Proscan flat tv Or codes for my remote.I do not have a model number for the remote. I'm trying to program my cable remote and my cable company(COMCAST) does not have a code for my tv.
I have a Proscan model # PS36800HRJX1 and having a hard time putting it on DVD mode to be able to play a movie. I just bought a remote for it and can't figure out what's the problem. How do I go about it?

To everyone with the problem of finding codes for the proscan series. I here that the source sells a learning remote called the all in one that will work. However i don't think it's worth it because it carries a price tag of somewhere around 120-130 dollars. If your going to use it for everything in your house, then get it, if it's only for your proscan forget it. Also a dealer has told me that the tv does not have codes for it right now because it's fairly new. He says wait till codes come out for it. I don't know who to believe but if you want to try the all in one remote. remember you can return if it doesn't work. Good luck to all!!!
