Press "end of cycle". Plug off the wall. Code can be an indication of several issues. The most common cause is over-sudsing in the machine. Overloading the wash with too much laundry may also cause the LE error code. Lastly, a breakdown in the signal between the microprocessor and the motor may cause that error code. This can occur if there is a loose wire, see that all wires are tightened..........
Use powders for 'front loading machines'. And pl rate me if helped.

Lg washer wm2077cw had le error and did not work, blew in to tubing connecting tub to a sensor at top and now my reading went from 230 to 256. washer wont stop filling , leaks out front door. what is wrong...

When you blew into the tubing, you destroyed the water level sensor. You will need to change the water level sensor to stop the unit from over filling. That part number is 6601ER1006E. As for the LE error code, you one of 2 things go bad. Either the motor sensor has failed or the control board has failed. Chances are the motor sensor has failed and is the cheaper part to replace. The part number for that is 6501KW2002A
Good luck

ERROR CODE LE ON LG FRONT LOAD WASHER

LE is a locked motor error. Not to worry as 95% of the time it is just a bad hall sensor (the motor position sensor). For your model the part number is 6501KW2002A.

LE CODE COURNING SMELLMES ON AND B

HI, this code represent a Locked motor. the Hall sensor may be damaged. check the following.

* The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of stator assembly
* The electrical contact between the connectores, (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness and 4-pin, female, white connector in the main PWB assembly is bad or unstable. Or the motor harness between the sator assembly and main PWB assembly is cut (open circuit).
* The hall sensor is out of order/defective.

I have a model WM2077CW LG washer. The LE error

LE indicates a fault with the motor on the appliance.

LG suggest you switch off, wait for a minute, unplug the appliance.

Wait 15 minutes then plug it back in again.

Try the machine again.

If it's still faulty, you can try changing the Hall Sensor in the motor, this can sometimes cure the problem.

Unplug the machine and remove the rear cover. There are 4 Philips head screws. Take them out and remove the rear cover.

You should now see the rear of the motor, which is mounted to the back of the drum.

In the middle is a large bolt which holds the stator cover.

You'll need a 17mm socket and a ratchet to remove this bolt.

Remove the stator cover and place aside.

Toward the bottom-left, you will see a couple of wire bunches held to the motor by three screws. One holds a metal bracket, one actually holds a ground wire, and the last is through a plastic bracket toward the bottom. Remove these three screws and don't lose them.

Through the motor there are 6 bolts holding it onto the back of the drum assembly.

You'll need a 10mm socket and ratchet to remove them.

You will now have the motor off the back of the drum.

Disconnect the two wire harnesses from the motor.

Looking at the surface of this motor that was facing the DRUM (not the outside), you'll see two small pieces clipped onto it, toward the bottom.

The sensor you are looking to replace is the one that looks like a kitchen magnet.

It is attached by small clips. You'll see how it goes on. It's easy to remove.

Go to google and search for part number 6501KW2002A.

This will bring up an LG sensor assembly.

Double check with the supplier that this is the sensor for your appliance.

When you receive the sensor, simply reverse steps 1 through 5.

Once re assembled, try the machine again.

If still the same after this you'll need to replace the motor and/or control board.

Our washing machine, model #WM2077CW, is flashing the error code LE. Can you perhaps fill me in on the situation?

LE means a Locked Motor Code: ( these are the manufacturers list of issues associated with that coed...)
• The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR
HARNESS is not connected to the connector
(3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY.
• The electric contact between the connectors
(3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS
and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB
ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.
• The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR
ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open
circuited).
• The hall sensor is out of order/defective.

LG WM2077CW LE Error, won't spin

It sounds like the motor sensor has failed and needs to be replaced.  Yes a DYI can do it.  The sensor is in the back.
Remove the back cover.
Use a 17mm socket to remove the center bolt holding the rotor.  Remove the rotor by pulling it straight out.  It will be hard but keep pulling.
Now use a 10mm socket to remove the 6 bolts holding the stator assembly.  Carefully remove the stator and turn it around to locate two connectors.  The 5 wire connector is the motor sensor.  Replace it and reinstall and it should work fine.
