Question about Canon PowerShot G9 Digital Camera
Internal flash will not work or be selected - on my Canon G9
Sounds like you need to have the flash serviced for your Canon G9. Not something you should tackle on your own as the whole camera pretty much has to come apart to replace the flash, even the lens has to come out. The place we recommend for service on the Canon's is: www.CamerasAndParts.com All they work on are the Canon Powershots and they are fantastic for service. Through them, it's $89 and that also covers the service for the camera, along with the flash being replaced or whatever it needs to fix the flash problem, it covers the no power correction for the G9, the lens error prevention, and the shipping back I believe. You can try emailing them as I'm not 100% certain on everything but they are who we recommend for service. They are flawless on their work, they know these Canon's very well. I hope that helps you with it.
