Problem for Epson Stylus Pro 9600 InkJet Printer

Prints extra strip in between

When printing a new poster the printer will print out a strip of about 3.5 inches of white. Then the job will start printing. Then after some of the poster is printed, it goes and cuts off the white strip. Leaving the 3.5 inch white strip on the floor. Does anyone know how to minimize the waste? Any advice would be appreciated.

- Thank you so much for the reply. Would you be able to point me to detailed instructions to accomplish this task? I don't normally do anything with this printer and this is my first experience with it.

try to reset the settings in the printer panel inside the printer setup menu. try to choose the initialize all. then observe your printer operation.
