Question about EZQuest King (K529900) Burner

1 Answer

My KING KC-115C Horizontal metal cutting band saw cuts off track.

My KING KC-115C Horizontal metal cutting band saw does not cut perpendicular to the holding clamp. The blade runs off at an angle to the vertical. Or another way of putting it; the blade does not cut at 90 degrees to the horizontal, but to some lesser angle.
The bearing guides for the blade must be at fault but do not appear to be adjustable.

I used to work for Doall saw company. While I am not familiar with the particular model you have, I have seen issues like it in Doall saws.
Firstly, If bearing guides are not adjustable, replace them. There should be only about a 32 of an inch play between them (in addition to the thickness of the blade). Secondly, for a prodution horizontal bandsaw you should have the blade tensioned a @30,000 psi. Thirdly, if after that, you are still having problems, I would suggest checking the bearings on your drive and idler wheels for runout (in addition to the condition of the tires).

Mbs45 blade undercuts out of square, twist in 2x2 1/8" tubing

I believe Black bull band saw is a Taiwan imported saw. They are even cheaper to HF band saws. This band saw have so many issues; make sure you align the guides, tune it up and use good bi metal band saw blades. I suggest you use the Haltbar 601 bi metal blade. I'm using Haltbar and I'm getting really nice cut.

Cant see m to cut in a straight line. when cutting a wine bottle the top it cutting straight but the bottom it not.

Cutting a glass on band saw is like cutting a metal. You have to make sure that you set up the band saw correctly, get a good quality blade, run on right speed, enough coolant and feed the material nicely.

How do you line the blade on a shopfox m1014 it wont cut stright

You should check your manual for correct blade tracking adjustment. Place the guides properly. You should use a fine
blade as well. I have 7x12 band saw and I am using Haltbar band saw blade on it. I got it on . The blades
are really good.

That will work with the meat frozen or thawed, but the problem will be that the band saw will be very difficult to clean adequately afterwards. That won't be a big problem until a week after you have cut meat with it the first time. Once it stinks you won't want to use it cut anything! A meat-saw is made to be easier to clean than a wood or metal cutting bandsaw.

Mt 18 inch horizontal band saw is not cutting square

Thicker metal shows greater blade / saw adjustment errors. A simple 1/64 or 1/32 wont show much on an 1/8 thick piece of metal when cut.
Those numbers will double quickly as the cutting blade travels through thick metal.
Metal band saws seem to be trickier to adjust and fine tune because the blade seems to be twisted into the roller guides.
The downloaded manual for the saw that looked most like mine at helped my adjustments a lot.
The saw quality is also a factor.

I just bought a Skil Band Saw and it wants to cut to the left (as you look at it) it was being used to cut 16 gauge steel.I just changed the blade.

You probably just need to track the blade, pull all the guides back away from the blade and free wheel it by hand, tilt the blade into the center of the tires, if it doesn't center on both, one of them is off. When it centers, torque it up a little, then adjust the guides to the blade, don't push the blade out, just barely touch it, then it should track and cut straight. Good luck. Does this machine have a transmission for metal cutting? Or just one speed?

Problems with my band saw bs100

Look for any gouges in the metal surface that have metal projecting above the milled surface. Also, file or grind away any sharp edges along the miter gauge track. If the cut surface is very irregular, the blade may have overly coarse teeth, or the blade guide rollers may not be holding the blade firmly allowing the blade to wander while cutting. Hope this helps.

Blade width usage

Blade Width is important when purchasing a band saw. Most saws accept narrow 1/8" blades for cutting detailed designs and tight curves. Better saws also accept wider blades. Wide blades don’t flex as much as narrow ones, but they make accurate straight cuts in thick stock quicker. There are also some wide blades available that can cut metal.
