Reset the password on your wireless router im assuming, most routers will reset back to default settings and passwords if you hold down the reset button on the back for about 10-20 seconds, then you should be able to access the router wiht the default ip, username and password thats shown in the manual.

Wifi does not connect to network. always asks for network key the router is a belkin n300

The router has probably been setup with wep / wpa / or wpa2 protection. You will need to ask the person who set the router up for the passkey. If this is a router you setup, or if the router is connected to another computer via network cable. You can log into the router (usually by going to http://192.168.0.1 ) with username admin and password admin.
Then go to the wireless section. In here you can see what your wireless key has been set to.

Cannot remember the network security key

Do a factory reset on the router and set it up again or find another device that has wireless access and get the passkey from there.
Even simple WEP security needs an active PC on the network and a working knowledge of TCP/IP to extract the passkey.
In reality 99.9999% of the time if you have really lost the passkey you are going to have to reset the router/access point and reconfigure attached devices to new settings.

How do I find my Network Key..or Password

If you forgot or do not know teh network / passkey of your wireless router you have to follow the following procedure to know the password (i am assuming that you have windows)

1. Connect your router directly to your computer (disconnect your cable / DSL internet from the router)
2. Use the Switch ports (ports marked 1 to 4 to connect to your computer / Do not use the internet port or WAN port in your router to connect to the computer)
3. Open command prompt (Start - Run - Type CMD and hit enter
4. Type IPCONFIG and hit enter. (not down the numbers next to Default gateway (it should be in the format 192.168.1.1 etc).
5. Type exit and hit enter
6. Open the internet explorer and type the default gateway you noted and hit enter
7. You should get a small popup asking for username & password - type
admin (username)
password (password) if this does not work (type admin for password also)

if this username and password does not work then you need to reset the router. (Please refer to the manual for this process)

8. if the username & password works you should be able to access the router page, then you need to click on wireless settings on the router page and then know or change your wireless passkey.

Please reply to the post if you need further assistance.

"how do i connet to the internet on my psp"

You need to have a WiFi network or be on a WiFi hotspot. If you are connecting to a secured network, make sure you get the passkey from the WiFi admin. If you want to setup a WiFi network at your place. You need to buy a Wireless router. Usually costs around $50-$60. This will share your internet connection wirelessly.
