Samsung fridge model RL43WCIH. on a display number 1 is flikkering on a deepfreezer temperature adjustment and the on and off button is not working

The flickering display on your Samsung fridge model RL43WCIH indicates a possible issue with the control board or the temperature sensor. The fact that the on and off button is not working may indicate a power supply problem.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure that the fridge is plugged in and the power outlet is functioning properly. Try unplugging the fridge for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to see if that resets the control board.
  2. Check the temperature sensor: If the temperature sensor is faulty, it can cause the display to flicker. You may need to replace the temperature sensor if it is damaged or not functioning properly.
  3. Check the control board: A faulty control board can cause a variety of issues, including a flickering display and unresponsive buttons. If the control board is the problem, you may need to replace it.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

Display on control panel no longer displays.

Surge associated with power outage can make disasters in refrigerators. You need a power protector for refrigerators.
Now, what already is damaged, should be repaired by an authorized techician.
For protector, you can do a search; typical return is this one

Electronic Surge Protector for Refrigerators up to 27 Cuft and Freezers

Why is the off light on on my scotsman ice machine

There could be a few reasons why the "off" light is on your Scotsman ice machine:
  1. Power Supply: The first thing to check is that the machine is properly plugged in and that there is the power to the outlet.
  2. Control Panel: The control panel may have been set to "off" mode manually. Make sure that the control panel is set to "on" mode.
  3. Control Switch: The control switch may be faulty, preventing the machine from turning on. If this is the case, the switch will need to be repaired or replaced.
  4. Thermostat: The thermostat controls the temperature inside the machine, if it's not functioning properly it may cause the machine to shut off. A faulty thermostat will need to be repaired or replaced.
  5. Power Outage: If there was a power outage and the machine lost power, it may have entered into a "safety" mode, this feature stops the machine from turning back on automatically after power is restored. Wait for a few minutes and then try to turn the machine back on.
It's best to consult the user manual or to contact a professional technician to diagnose the problem, as the issue could be caused by a number of things and it's important to troubleshoot it correctly.

Power outage and fridge doesnt come back on when power is restored

First make sure there is power to the plug at the wall. If not check the breaker. If power at the plug, the power outage could have been associated with a power surge that killed your refrig.

Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Fahrenheit to Celsius

The
oven can be changed from Fahrenheit (°F) temperature to Celsius
(°C).

How do I set in Automatic mode, seems to only work manually since loss of power?

1) Power outage is major cause of timer failure. Power surge occurs when power is restored, and electronics are susceptible to surge. This includes water softerer, treadmill, electronic water heater, timers, etc.
Timers should be unplugged when power goes off.
Of all timers on market today, only one instruction manual says to unplug timer with power loss. However many people write fixya saying their timer, and electronic water heater control etc stopped functioning after power loss. Probably other products have same problem, but I work with timers and water heaters and see only that slice of the world.

2) Question posted under Woods 59377.
Several timers look identical or similar.
59377 timer has non-replaceable rechargeable battery, some similar timers have AA battery.
If timer has battery, change battery.
Then reset timer to restore functionality. Press reset button for a few seconds with paper clip.

3) If timer function does not restore after reset, then timer is bad.
Buy similar timer at Lowes or Target, and return defective timer in new package.

4) If function is restored, then re-program timer
Open following link for timer instructions showing how to reset timer and re-program timer:

Water inside tank-type water heater can remain hot for some time.

Power outage can be related to failure of gas control.
Unplug stuff when power goes out. And then plug back in after power is restored.
Water heaters with electronics are not protected from surge.
Electronics can blow out during and after power outage. For example nearby lightning strike will cause current to run along household wires. With ordinary power outage, once power is restored, the surge can affect all kinds of electronic circuitry such as timers, water heaters, water softener, treadmill etc.

Sounds like you have intellivent gas control valve:

Control panel not working Samsung refrigerator model rs2533sw. Not cooling.

I have a samsung refrigertor rs2555sl and my control panel stopped working after I turned the power off to the house (to install a light fixture elsewhere). There was one green light blinking on the refrigerator temp display.

Hold down the "power freeze" and "power cool" buttons at the same time for at least 8 seconds. This is a self diagnostic program. A number should appear on the refrigerator temp display (1-9)...it will hold for 30 seconds and then the panel should function again.

In my case the number that appeared was "3" which can indicate a multitude of things including a short circuit or power outage (which was it was for me).

Hope this helps!
