My cabrio dryer is overheating. I have replaced thermistor, thermostat, replaced control board but get f22 error code,

Dryers overheat because of reduced airflow. You need to fix that first. Remove the rear vent completely and check the hose for lint and birds nests. Check the flaps on the wall vent that they move freely. Then strip the machine down and clean all the ducting and the fan.

How do I fix an f22 error code?

On the back of the blower housing(fan that makes air move through the dryer), there is a thermal fuse called a thermistor. The F22 error code you're getting means that this safety fuse has opened and must be replaced. The part# is 8577274 and is designated #40 on the exploded parts diagram. This is an INVOLVED repair. Most of the thermal fuses can be reached by removing the rear cover of the dryer and are located on the heater box. This one, however, is accessed by removing the entire front of the dryer, including the front bulkhead assembly to expose the blower housing. Here is the exploded parts view from Parts Select, their part# is PS993287 and costs 20 bucks and change, http://www.partselect.com/MultiModels.aspx?ModelNum=wed6600&searchTerm=&RefineSearch=0. If you aren't comfortable with this level of disassembly, DEFINITELY call for a service tech to do the repair!

We have had our Whirlpool Duet Electric Dryer (front loading) for about 2 months. It is showing an error code of F22. I have no idea what this code means nor how to fix it.

the f22 code is a failed thermistor. you can try to change this yourself but if the unit is less then a year old then it will be covered by warranty.
the part is only about 30 bucks so if you can get one and find it behind the lint screen duct then you could change it and fix the problem.
