The Wii will not load games. I was told by a friend that it may need to be reset??

It may be a lens problem.If you have technical skills and tree-wing screwdriver open the console and clean the lens with piece of cotton and some alcohol.If this not help you need to replace the lens.

The only network adapter integrated into the Wii is wireless, you will need a network adapter to use a wired network.

My little brother and friend want to play wii mario kart wii together. They are in the nintendo WFC and have both connected, but can't figure out how to actually PLAY a game, help?


You need to install the Mario Kart Channel.

When you are in the Mario Kart Wii game, go to the "Select License" screen.

Click on the "Settings" icon in the top right corner.

Select "Mario Kart Channel.

"yes"

"Install."

your friend will need to tell you their 12 digit friend code. They can find it by going to the Mario Kart Wii Channel Select License screen.

Chose their profile.

Select "Friends".

Their 12-digit friend code will be displayed near the bottom of the scree

from the Mario Kart Wii Channel Select License screen, chose your player profile.

Select Nintendo WFC - either 1 or 2 player.

Select "Friends"

Select "Register a Friend."

Enter your friend's 12 digit code, then select "OK" to confirm.

Some games not loading, resets system


This should only be happening with burnt games. Or your disc drive will need to be replaced, or your 2nd option is you can mod your wii system at www.wiihdmods.com and get 100 wii games playable from a hard drive for 150.00

Restore factory settings


To reset back to the 50 Mhz frequency on a Wii you press reset on the Wii and the down direction button/rocker on the wii remote. It works - I just did it!
