Question about Motorola Mobility KRZR K1m Cellular Phone

Open Question

Hi I'm Hermann and have the following problem: I did a Master Reset and the Initial settings are gone which means I'm not able to change the time settings and all other Initial settings as well as the Google folder. I wrote to Motorola and got told that they can't help me without bringing the phone in. Since I live in Cost Rica it makes no sense to me to have a flight only for the phone. I bought the phone from a dealer on EBay but he is not active anymore and his house is sold.

How to do a master reset for model motorala V262 flip phone

Hi
To perform the Master Reset (Same as Master Clear, but it does not clear all memory locations and Call Timers. No personal data is erased) you need to.
  1. Press the center select key
  2. Scroll to and select Settings (may be Settings & Tools)
  3. Scroll to and select Initial Setup
  4. Scroll to and select Master Reset
  5. If prompted for a Security Code, enter 000000 (or whatever the customer set it to)
  6. Select OK to confirm
If you want to Perform a Master Clean (Changes all non-standard user settings to standard plus clears all memory locations and the Resettable Call Timer. Useful for fleet applications) you need to.

  1. Press the center select key
  2. Scroll to and select Settings (may be Settings & Tools)
  3. Scroll to and select Initial Setup
  4. Scroll to and select Master Clear
  5. If prompted for a Security Code, enter 000000 (or whatever the customer set it to)
  6. Select OK to confirm

My motorola c350 language has been changed. Now I cant read the language for what its getting difficult to change it to English. Please help

Download the user-manual from this site. http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/C350_gsm_User_Manual_E.pdf

Observe the menu map. From your main menu, you have to open more (It has box open icon). Under More, you have to open Settings(Two mechanical bolts icon).

Under settings, you have to go to Other Settings which is the 5th option.

Call Forward
Phone Status
In-Call Setup
Security
Other Settings *

Under Other settings, you have the following options:

Personalize
Initial Setup
Network
Car Settings
Headset

You have to select the 2nd setting, that is Initial Setup.

Under Initial Setup, you have the following options:

Time and Date
1-Touch Dial
Backlight
Zoom
TTY Setup
Scroll
Animation
Language
Battery Save
Contrast
DTMF
Master Reset
Master Clear

You have to select the 8the option, which is language(langua/idioma/langue).

Now from the options select English to set english as the changed language.

Reset my motorola l6

Hi,
To reset the phone,

you just need the security code, if you have changed the security code from its purchase time, it would be 000000 (6 zeors) by default.

Goto Settings
Select Initial Settings
Select Master Reset
enter the security code (000000) or the code which u have set..
press OK.

the phone's settings will be restored to the default settings and it gets restarted automatically.

Hard Reset

Hello DoctorJ16,

If you mean hard reset as in reflashing the unit with software, it shouldn't make too much of a difference. Are you experiencing a problem with the unit or you just want to set everything back to default?

You can get similar results by performing the master clear and master reset option.

Go to the Menu and click on Settings
From there you'll want to scroll down to "Initial Setup"
Scroll down to the bottom and you will see both Master Clear and Master Reset.

I suggest you do the Master Clear first, the code should be six "0", entered "000000".
After which you can perform the Master Reset, same code.

Hope this helps,
cHiPz.
