The solution....purge the system memory cache. Disconnect the hdd; turn console on for a few minutes. Turn console off and reconnect the hdd. As long as you do not accept any system updates for modern warfare 2 your console should be fine. The updates make the xbox 360 sick. Happen to me

Hi

Modern Warfare 2 freezing related complaints have hit the web recently, however you can follow these steps to resolve the issue

Clean your disc only if it is dirty.

Install the game on your hard drive and play it that way.

Make sure your 360 has adequate ventilation.

Let me know if this helped

This actually sounds like it is the laser that is off as it freezes until you remove the disc you can fix this if you reset the laser, to do this send it in or use a good repair guide

Error creating session. wind i go online or multiplayer willnt read or go online

Hi,
Hopefully this will help solve your problem:
1. Press and hold down the power button located at the front of the PS3 console, until you hear a first beep, then eventually a second – before the console shuts down, then let go of the button;
2. Now press and hold the button again until you hear a first beep, then a second beep then eventually a quick double-beep, then let go of the button;
3. The TV screen should now display a six option menu, where you can select what’s required, i.e. `Restart System`, `Restore System` etc. `Reset System` should only be used after other attempts with the other options, as your game saved data may be lost. If you play Modern Warfare 2 online, then this won’t be affected as your data is saved on the Sony Server.
4. During any of the above actions, your best having your handset controller connected to the PS3 via the USB cord, which includes pressing the `P` button when required (located between `Start` and `Select`).
These actions should help solve `freeze` problems and others such as update errors etc – which restrict you starting up or playing your console.
Don’t hesitate to contact Sony UK if required, who are very helpful. Their UK number is: 0844 7360595

Good Luck!

My Modern Warfare 2 Game Wont Let Me Play... Please Help!!!

It could be your router or network settings for your internet. Do you use Port forwarding? The Playstation site tells you all the ports you need to use. Also try putting your playstation in a DMZ.

My playstation keeps freezing up. it mainly happens after a match in call of duty modern warfare 2, when the scorebord pops up.

either your disc is damaged or your connection cannot support itself when leaving the match host. try adjusting connection settings or trying a different MW2 disc

This pc freezes out so often and i had to push the power button off and on again less than every hour.

Well, its time my friend to get a new PC. I prefer

www.cyberpowerpc.com it is cheaper than dell, mac, hp, etc. and it will last you MANY years with out being outdated. Mine is three years old and it still has the power to run these games:

Call of Duty 5
Modern Warfare 2 (Infinity Ward employees ONLY please don't ask for a copy of the game)
