Question about Nokia 6555 Cell Phone

Open Question

My wife is having a problem with her Nokia 6555 flip phone. She cannot get the internal speaker to work and has to use the external speakerphone to hear anyone. Her bluetooth earpiece works fine and everyone can hear her when she isn't using the earpiece. Any idea what caused this and how to fix it?

My phones speaker s not workin...but when call comes ring tone is heard.wat s the problem

your cell phone probably has an internal speaker for you to hold the phone up to your ear and talk and an external speaker that is used for the ringtone and for you to use the talk on speakerphone option. You can try to use the speakerphone to speakerphone and see if you can hear your callers.
If you phone's internal speaker is not working, the phone needs to be repaired or replaced.

The Speakerphone is ON on my env3 and I don't know how to turn it OFF (or back on). Can you help me determine how to turn it OFF? Thanks, CRH

Open the flip and you'll see the speaker phone on/off button on the lower right of the keyboard. There is also a setting to have the speakerphone activate when you open the flip to answer a call.

To my knowledge, there is no way to answer a call with speakerphone active from the outside (closed) position.

Nokia 6555 phone cuts off

Same thing happened to me and someone else I know that has this phone. I also have to have it on speaker phone to hear people talk. I honestly think it's either a fault in this particular phone, or Nokia has programmed it to do this so you buy a new phone before you normally would...

HI,
When we use our phone for a long time in talking, the speaker of our gets stuck(The diaphragm inside gets over vibrated leads to speaker damage).
The only way this problem is to,by taking your phone to Nokia care centre.
OR
If you are aware of your phone, you can open your phone and replace the speaker of your phone.

A question mark appears when I turn off my Nokia 6555 AT&T phone.

My wife had the same problem with her Nokia 6555. It turned out that the new theme she switched to was the root cause. I reverted back to her original theme, i.e. Marble something, everything started working as it should. No more question mark. Now, how come Nokia couldn't tell us this???? It would have saved me a lot of time.
