JVC 48" HDTV Ready Widescreen Projection TV

Hello..there..we had a terrible thunder storm yesterday...the tv was not on..but after the storm hit...the tv will not come on..do you have any suggestions of what went wrong..do you think the power supply went out...please advise

Terrible thunder storm can create electrict shock to our appliances thats why we recomended that if you donot use your tv pls unplug it, and it mostly if you use outdoor antena when the thunder hit the tv will damage.

Must know basic soldering and have tools like soldering iron,a desoldering pump or desoldering witchs to replaced parts on the tv convergencce board.U have none of these tools devices and never solder bsfore,better hire the tv tech. to do the job.Cost estimate 300-350 for parts and labors.Tries wesite like Tvrepairworld.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy a whole convergence kit,to do it ur self,if u can?

Convergence ICs have failed. You can get the convergence repair kit for your model JVC at www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains both ICs the associated resistors and the CD with detailed instructions.

Are you talking about the connections on the back of the set? And how are you measuring this? AC or DC?
