If the charger jack on your laptop gives you intermittent connection, the changes are that it needs to be replaced. If you are good at soldering on PC boards you can replace it yourself. if you take it to a repair shop they will probably charge you about $90 to replace the jack.
If you want to consider replacing it yourself, take a look at
http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop/2007/12/06/dc-power-jack-repair-guide/
You can Google "laptop power jack repair" for more information and service sites.
Hope this helps.

Fault codes P0236 and P0046 keep coming up on my freelander1 td4 2004

P0236 = Possible causes are

1. Boost pressure sensor harness is open or shorted
2. Boost pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection
3. Faulty boost pressure sensor
4. Faulty Turbo/Super Charger
5. Engine over temperature
6. Ignition misfire exceeds the threshold
7. Faulty Knock sensor (KS)

P0046 = Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control Solenoid Circuit Range/Performance

.... based on this information I would replace the turbo boost control solenoid first.

Will keeping the ac plug connected kill my battery on Dell latitude d610?

I will suggest you to use laptop after it is full charge by removing the charger . when ever you feel battery is down then you can plug in the charger and keep using it, and when ever you see battery is full then remove the charger.
I'll not suggest you keep plugged in the charger when you are done, this way it can effect your Battery. and yes your battery can die with in a year if you are not follwing the correct way to use it.

Fuse # 4 2002 f 150

Stop plugging into the console power point with whatever it is that you keep plugging in that is blowing the fuse. The truck is not the CAUSE of the problem. Your defective accessory is. (cell phone charger, radar detector, GPS unit...whatever it is...?)

Im not able to charge my phone ! When plug in the charger it shows not charging stop! Wat should i do.... Please sugest me a way to get rid of this problem..please...!

There could be 2 reasons.
1- Charging pin of the charger is not working properly.
2- The point where you put the charging pin is faulty.

Batteries keep losing charge within a few blocks of travel. They have been changed several times in the last 3 months and the problem is still there. I charge the batteries every night and the next day...

Hi. What size batteries are they, and how far do you travel.
Faulty battery lead connectors or faulty motor lead connectors can cause this.
Is your battery charger faulty? What type of batteries do you use? The maximum voltage from the charger when the batteries are full, for gell batteries should be no more than about 28.5 volts. For AGM batteries, this voltage can be slightly higher, 29.0 to 29.5 volts.
The brake assembly could be faulty and not releasing properly.
Check for loose terminals on the controller for the motor and/or battery connections.
Does the charger socket or plug get warm or hoy where it plugs into the scooter. This is caused by faulty terminals in the socket causing a resistance.
This resistance makes the charger think that the batteries are fully charged when they aren't.
If you have very small batteries, then they wont last long if you keep running them flat on each trip.
Good luck. Neil.

My battery on my samsung g600 keeps going flat, when charging after a minute it displays battery fully charged. when charger is unplugged it is flat. bought new battery which just wouldnt charge. is it...

send the phone away for a warranty repair thats if its still in the 12 months warranty. sounds like the phone. since your phone is working with the charger in it, that points to the battery but if you bought a new one then it has to be the phone unless you are very unlucky in getting 2 dysfunctional batteries. But the best way around this is to send it away under warranty

Dell Laptop Charger, wont charge bat. but keeps computer running.

Hi there.
In some cases batteries tend to not charge up because one of the cells are damaged or drained to the point that they will not charge at all.
In other cases it can be the power board on the laptop motherboard itself which can have gone faulty, the only way to tell is to obtain another battery (preferably new) and see if it will charge the new one, if it does then you know that the battery is faulty, if it doesn't then you will have to take the laptop into a shop to be looked at.
This is the only way you are going to be able to work out which one of the two is the cause.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Charging problem

It's either a software fault or hardware failure. Backup everthing you want to keep then download and install the nokia software updater: www.europe.nokia.com/softwareupdate If this doesn't fix it then you will need to visit a nokia care point. Care points: http://www.nokia.com and select your country.
