Question about Belkin (F5D8231-4) Wireless Router (F5D82314)
Router will not go wireless. all lights come on except wireless light.
The "wireless" (second) light on this model does not indicate that the router's wireless features are active, it indicates that a computer is connected to the router wirelessly. If the "router" (fourth) light shows three little "radio wave" symbols, the router's wireless capability is on.

SOURCE: I have a 2wire router
First of all, log onto the router via LAN port, select my network, click on wireless setting and ensure the wireless is ENABLE then click save to save the new setting. Use your laptop to connect to your router. Once connected the light will lit green. At some point lock your network.

Possible the wireless capabilitiy of your router is turned off and the security is turned off meaning that there is no security key in the router settings yet,
you will need to get in your routers default gateway check by going into the Dos Promp, type in IPCONFIG this will show you your IP address and default gateway type your default gateway in the address bar of your browser IE or Firefox ths should ask for a user name and password to get in your router the default user name will be admin and the password can be blank or password, or admin as well, depnds if your internet service provider change the password and user name of the router. once in the router check wireless settings look if the wireless is turned on the router and for the security just create a network security key to hav that light turned on if you want.

SOURCE: all the lights on the
this means that you do not have a wireless connection successfully made...the light will turn blue when you connect a device on it ..If it works OK ..it means it is normal ..as long you do not have a connected wireless device on it ..the light is supposed to do so ..but if it does like that during a wireless connection it means either the wireless is not turned on into the settings or it is not working ..
In this case..you should get into the settings via the browser..using the Ip address...
or whatever the address it is ..(IP of the router )
in there choose the wireless and re build the settings ..and enable it ..
But ..from what I know it is supposed to do so ...I mean yellow light ...as long as you do not have a successful made connection on the wireless ..
The light turned blue means a working section ...for example if you have a usb attached the usb led will be blue...and so on ..In case a section is turned off..it may act like this ...and this is something you have to check ..
If you never changed the password and admin user name ..they will be like the factory ones...meaning admin for both
