Try a few drops of lubricating oil designed for compressed air tools.
If the diaphragm is only stuck this may help.
If the diaphragm is damaged or cracked. This won't help. It will need replacing. This will result in lower air pressure causing the staple not to penetrate deep enough. And will allow air to by pass the diaphragm straight out the top of the unit.

Hope this helps!

Grip rite 16 gauge crown stapler shoots 1 and misses 6

Mis-fire indicates that the driver is not returning to top of cylinder thus not allowing the staples to feed forward. The driver should move up/down the cylinder rather easily but not move up and down freely. Make sure that piston oring is not too tight nor too loose. If piston oring seems right then most likely too much air is leaking past lower bumper and lower driver blade seal. You can make a seal for the bottom out of innertube rubber. Just cut out a circle that fits at the bottom of the cylinder under the bumper and cut a thin slot for the driver to fit thru. The idea is to try to prevent too much air from leaking past the lower seal. Good luck

What part do I need to remove to make a bostich MIIIFS floor stapler to shoot 2 inch staples

You shouldn't have to do anything to the MIIIFS flooring stapler to shoot 2" staples. It is designed to shoot 1 1/2" to 2" staples right out of the box. If your stapler won't feed 2" staples, check the magazine all the way up to the power head for any foreign material that may hold up your staples.

I have rebuilt my staple gun all new seals new piston and driver blade new bumper cushen when gun shoots the blade wont retract up all the way you have to open the staple mag. fire the gun then the blade...

Inside the cap, there's a plastic circular insert. It's a common mistake to reassemble the gun with this cap spacer upside down, resulting in the top of the cylinder not sealing in the air that returns the piston. Simply undo the cap, turn the spacer over and screw it back on again. Done.

Crown Stapler stopped shooting staples

Did you look for a staple jammed in the driver mechanism? If the piston is stuck down, it won't respond to the trigger. Try smacking the top of the stapler onto a wooden bench to see if the force will release the piston. Make sure that you use air-tool oil for lubrication inside the tool. Hope this gets you running!

Won't shoot staples it still shoots no staples come out was working fine seconds before

look for a jammed staple near the end of the magazine that is stopping them from advancing. Also make sure they move freely in/on the magazine. Double check to ensure that you are using the right staples for this tool.

I AM HAVING TROUBLE OUT OF MY BOSTITCH MIIIFS FLOOR NAILER

D Farley,
I repair these nailers all the time. Anytime the nail or staple is bending you have 2 causes. Either the stapler has a broken blade, the magazine is loose on the foot gate, or you are shooting into plywood over concrete. that is allowing the staple to hit the cement subfloor. Use 11 /2" staples on 3/4" wood floor over 3/4" plywood when over concrete.
