The wire is probably disconnected or the speaker broke

Denon receiver avr 1506 has sound issues. One side has very very low crackly sound until the receiver is good and warm then suddenly the sound starts working normally on the affected side. Or if I really...

Sounds like a thermal related problem and what comes to mind is a cold solder joint. I'm thinking that the "good and warm" is the circuit boards heating up inside where-as the "really crank the volume" is sound vibration to the circuit board helping to make connection. Try this...1st time turn on with problem present...use a clenched fist to lightly vibrate the chassis on top, bottom and sides. Does this vibration test make the problem disappear/appear? If it is a solder connection be warned...locating and repairing these type problems is no picnic and most often requires the "trained eye" of a electronics tech to locate.

I have lost sound. Display shows "o1"on the right hand side. How do I get the sound back

sounds like you are talking about a pioneer receiver? the 'o1' on the side is showing that that function is set for optical input. If you are using hdmi, then you need to switch it to that.

No sound on right side speakers on A&B.Sound does work in test mode. Right side Chanel is working, just no sound on right side front in all input modes. I'm a amateur when it comes to stereos.

Go to "menu/Setup/Speaker level" and adjust the balance of L-R.See page 21 of the manual:

1976 pioneer sx 1250 receiver has no sound from receiver to speakers

for
1976 pioneer sx 1250 receiverhas no sound from receiver to speakers

check the integrity of speaker systems,

check the receiver internal components, pay close attention to the

capacitors, possibly have dried up or swollen (age)

Check for continuity to the speaker outputs.

These may take some time, but I hope you will make it.

The left side main output won't put out any sound on my Denon AVR-900.

connect your right speaker cable to the left output, if the sound comes out then the problem is on the left speaker ( the cable or the speaker itself ), but if still no sound, then the problem is on the power output of the unit, need to repair them

A/V reciever + Computer

Greetings tad1073,

Its more then possible to connect your sound card to your receiver, the question would be what connections are available.

Looking at your receiver's owners manual it does appear that you should have 3 digital inputs (2 optical, and 1 coaxial), so if your sound card has digital outputs it maybe best to use these. If your sound card does not, you should be able to invest in a "Y" audio cable that would go from a basic mini plug connection to a dual rca connector. You could then connect the cable to a line out (sugjested) or speaker out and then connect the rca side to a separate source (dvd, Dtv/Cbl, Dvr, CD, MD/Cd-R)

On a side note you might want to make sure some of your system sounds are deactivated unless you want to hear beeps, and bells while your using your receiver.

Enjoy.

Sound not coming from left side surround sound speaker or my right side front speaker

it is highly likely that you're TV is outputting mono sound, hence the left channel only. check your physical connections to the TV and the balance / channel volume on the television as well.
