Do this. The next time it prints a test page, keep the same test page under the scanner and push the scan button on the c3150. This would complete the test cycle and it would not print test pages from the next time.

I suspect the alignment was never finished and it is trying to do the alignment. Alignment is done when one or more print cartridges are replaced. Try taking out the cartridges and re-nsert them. Wait for the alignment page to be printed (automatically). Then switch off and on again to see if the problem has gone away.

You might look at the track bar or around the side where the cartridges return. Your printer probably isn't registering a full return on the idle position. See if a switch is dirty / stuck or foreign matter might be blocking it's "home"
