Make sure if you are using the RCA connectors they are the red, yellow, white. Connecters that the red and white are connected from your device to the tv. Also if you are using a HDMI or something else. Maybe try turning up the power on your device.

After the screen goes black, do you still have sound or you have none but a blank screen? If you have no picture and sound does the power LED in front of the tv indicate that the set is on, or does it go into standby? Please provide this info so that I can help you with your problem.

Take your tv to a service center and ask them to fix it. If they cant...
Have them make out a work order and then you call 1-877-297-8391. The people at the other end ot the tele number will give another tv
Hi, was there a resolution to this? I am experiencing the same problem with LCT3285TA purchased at Radio Shack in Media, PA. Radio Shack has refused to service the unit and has put me over to Akai for the manufacturer's warranty. I'd like to know what to expect and if this problem with the Logo coming up and the unit shutting off/restarting can be easily fixed, thanks.
