Nintendo ds nds console

I bought the console new for Xmas. No problems whatsoever until one week ago. The machine will no longer charge. When initially attaching the cable and switching on, the orange light flashes once and the DS then powers off. There is clearly nothing wrong with the cable (which sets off the light in the first place).  I look forward to hearing from you A.S.A.P. Nick Purdy

You probably have to send it to Nintendo to have it repaired (That is what I had to with mine). Go to the site and check to see if it is still under warranty.

My NDS just shuts down randomly in the midst of playing, usually with the green light giving a few blinks. No flashing screens though, and it's definitely charged. What could be wrong?

Is it still under warranty? Call Nintendo and have them repair it for you. I had the same exact issue, Nintendo solved my problem in less than a week.

IVE BEEN USING A R4 CARD ON DS SINCE I BOUGHT IT 1 TEAR AGO THEN ONE DAY I INSERTED R4 CARD AND DS NO LONGER RECONIZES IT JUST GO,SE TO MAIN SCREEN

It sounds like you've developed a contact problem with the R4 card I'm afraid - unless you can clearly see where the physical damage has occured it probably makes sense to grab a new one. :(

You can buy original DS cards from dscardworld.com - although if you live in Canada or Europe you may want to consider nds-gear.com because their shipping rates internationally are a bit cheaper. They also sell real r4i cards etc. so I wouldn't worry about either shop though.

Good luck!

My son's nintendo ds has been charging for a day now, but it

The battery is probably completely drained. Rechargeable batteries have a certain lifetime in which they can be charged to. The charge limit for a Nintendo DS is approx. 500 charges. When you pass this limit the battery will no longer work. Your best option is to buy a replacement battery at http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/
After a year or more a rechargeable battery won't last as long as it did when it was new.

My Nintendo DS got wet, help?

My sister experienced the same thing - Somehow there was a melted ice pak over me and my sisters NDS so i read the Manual and it said if u move suddenly from a cold place to a warm/hot place water drops may form inside - so dont play or charge the NDS for a few days NOTICE! If it is fixed you may have to blow into it every time you play for aprox. a week

Ds lite not working

i had same problem ( bought a faulty nds off ebay and would charge but nothing when powering up, not even a blink of green light) problem is a component called a L2 its an inductor 33uH in case SMD 1007. its situated dirrectly under the power switch but they are prone to fall off when nds is dropped ect. you need to resolder it on (very tricky). give your nds a shake to see if you can hear it rattelling about. be carefull when opening your nds not to lose the part (its very small, about 4mm long 2mm wide) GOOD LUCK
