Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
I have a fairly new Acer netbook, and I LOVE it!
However, just this morning, the mouse pad on the keyboard part of it has quit responding to my touch; it simply won't move the cursor, at all. I can plug a USB mouse in and have full control of the cursor, but I sure would like to have my touchpad function back. Thanks in advance for any advice. (PS: I have already messed with the mouse function in control panel; using Windows XP, if that makes any diff.)
There's a little button right above the touchpad. If the light on this button is orange, the touchpad is disabled. Press it again until the light is white again and your touchpad should work.

I had this same problem and holding down the Function Key and F7 did clear it up, just hold it longer than a few seconds...try it several times

The only button above the touchpad is the space bar!? Here is an image of said keyboard
I also have this issue and the Fn/F7 solution has had no effect?
