You can but trackeballs from ebay, i bought about because mine kept falling out. A company in Thailand or somewhere makes them and they send them out really fast. I only paid about £3.99 so i'd look into this!

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

Goodluck!

The tracking ball has seized and wont let me scroll down on menus

best thing to do, other than taking it apart is to get a hard flat surface and a sheet of a4 paper, take any cases etc off the phone hold it flat down to the surface and then roll it around, i normally find in a circular motion works best, this frees mine up perfectly. failing that you will need to take it apart which isnt that hard and clean the pressure pad below the roller ball but this is a bit fiddly!

yes..
if nothing is working, then you need to go to your carrier and either get it fixed or they might replace it... dont tell them its water damage though.

Same thing... roller ball scrolls but won't select

your ball may be sticky from hand goo
use a small bit of alcohol on a clothe and clean it.
also you can pop the ball assembly out and clean and check it.
here is a good take apart.

My roller ball goes up and down but not side to side please help!

The roller balls on Blackberries are notorious for this. The problem is that they get dirty. It is possible to remove the ball and clean it but that will void your warranty. I suggest calling your service provider and getting it replaced under warranty if the phone is less than a year old. If it is over a year old the warranty is expired already and you might as well take it apart yourself. You can find instructions on how to do this HERE

My blackberry pearl fell in the sink while i was washing my hands.. i took it out immediatly but i guess that wasnt good enough cause now i press certain buttons and they do something diffrent then what...

You MUST let it dry out throughly before you try using it again. You run the risk of shorting something out permanently. Some say open it up and lay it on a cookie sheet at 200 degrees for an hour or so. Others say put it in a tub of rice to let the rice pull the moisture out. I found success by just taking everything out (battery, sim) and/or apart (covers, back) that I could and letting it dry out for a few days by my heater vent. Whatever you do, DON'T put it in the dryer or on top of the toaster as some have suggested. That will definitely damage it more, lol.
