You should not use the memory card from other mobile to motorola. When you insert the memory card two folders will be created automatically (Sounds and images) You have to put the songs and images in the relevant folder, then only you can access. Otherwise it will display that you don't have files in the memory card. Take a copy of all the songs and images to your pc. Then follow these following steps 1. Format the memory card. 2. Insert the memory card to motorola 3. Transfer the files and folders to the folder(Automatically created folder) 4. Safely remove hardware
Are you using Micro SD transflsh memory?? Format the Card on the PC using FAT, after that use a CARDREADER and
put these folders on the card: MOBILE and in the mobile folder put
audio, video, kjava, picture, temp! Shutdown your Motorola, remove the
backcover and plug-in the card! After that Start Your Motorola and copy
a file from the mobile's memory on the CARD! It should work!
Hope it Helped You,If so give an "High Five!" [;)]
Try to format your memory card on a pc. after formatting, try putting some songs or any other data on the card from PC and then insert it on to ur mobile phone.
If is still does not work on mobile then you need to contact Nokia as the card is working fine.
You will first need to convert the audio CD format to mp3 files before you can copy them to your sandisk memory card and then use it in your phone. This is also called ripping and the software for this should have come with your phone, maybe on a software CD.
I have a similar problem, the issue for me was windows media player was creating a folder called music on my sd card and uploading the music there during sync function. However, the phone only looks in the \my_music folder on the SD card. Sync your phone, then rename the newly created music folder to my_music and the player will work. Still looking for a permanent solution to this problem.
In my V-750, I just formatted the MicroSD card from my cell phone and put it into my computer, then dragged the MP3 files to the My Music folder. I didn't need any Motorola CD. Note the order, I first tried to just put the MP3 files on the MicroSD and it didn't work.
Later, I went to the Big Box store they suggested on the Motorola web site and I think I paid $20 for the official USB to Mini USB cable that fits my cell with software to make ring tones and transfers.
As far as i know, no one has checked out pc suites of other motorola mobiles i guess. As of now, no pc suites available.
As i use the same phone, its given in the manual that it supports only sandisk company micro SD memory cards to my horror.Somehow i got the fly mobile memory card working but this card doesn't work in other mobiles. The only way to get mp3 is to activate internet, GPRS and download songs.Else you got to use an adapter for the memory card, connect to pc, store info and go on with the mobile. You got no prob with connecting phone to pc or instead using an adapter for a memory card.
Both the same.
Anpother prob is that you will have a very low download speed through the internet. So, its better you connect memory card to the pc.
