Question about Konica Minolta magicolor 2400 Laser Printer
All of a sudden, a little circut board (1"x0.5") that is on the far right side of evry toner crtridge on this printer, came off the black toner. After that, the error light kept blinking alost once every second.
I then glued back the piece to the toner cartridge (its little screw had disappeared!). However, the printer status keeps saying that I should replace the toner. I had an extra blue toner, which I tried to put instead of the black one to see whether it would do the job, but I believe the prionter is smart to know that the toner is not black. At this time, I do not want to pay over $100 to see whether another black toner would fix the problem, becvause if it does not do it, I would be out of luck with the added cost.
Any hint would be greatly appreciated.
Compear the the C and K toner circut boards, maybe you have to but something under circuit board, so it reaches the reading mechanism. after making any changes turn off and on the printer.
