Re: network controller drivers

Easy way is to open the case and see what is marked on the card,
If your Network adapter is built into your motherboard, what is the brand and model of your machine.
If it is a homebrew, you can get the motherboard data with this program.

If it is branded PC, i.e. Dell, Hp, Compaq, let us know what brand and model.
Get us this info and we can find your drivers that you need.

Good luck!

Need Windows 7 driver

download the drivers, use the one that is for windows vista, instead of running the driver installer that comes with the it go to the folder that called WINVISTA then go to a folder called 32 if using 32-bits or 64 if using 64 bits OS, inside that folder you will find 3 files extract then to a place you can remember. then go to control panel, device manager, look for the device that has a yellow icon click on it, click on update drivers, click on browser my computer for driver software, click browse, search for the place where you have extracted the drivers from before select the folder containing the drivers, click next and wait until windows installs the drivers.

usually a 85% of the windows vista drivers will work in windows 7.

Every single driver under the "network adapters", ...

Try to re-install the drivers.

Firstly, right click on every option under network adapters and select uninstall and later click on scan for hardware changes. It should re-install the drivers if they are present in the operating system.

Secondly, if you have a driver disc for your network adapter than try to re-install the drivers

I need the drivers for the ethernet controller and the network controller for a Dell latitude D620

For the D620, you would go to the following website. You'll need to select the operating system that you're running, and then go to the "Network" section of drivers and download the drivers there. There may be several different drivers since the D620 came with several different network adapters - It's most likely the Broadcom - Driver 57xx Gigabit Integrated Ethernet Controller. D620

Download the file and run it - it will walk you through the installation.

Satellite R25-0520 Won't POST. Message: For Realtek RTL139(x)/8130/810x Fast Ethernet Controller v2.13 (0202326) PXE-E61 Media Test Failure - Check cable PXE-M0F Exiting PXE ROM Is something "loose" inside...

This message is shown once the computer is booted; more than likely these Network Adapters are not being utilize, because the network connection is using "Wireless"service; the "Ethernet Controller is part of the (Wired-LAN) Family." The Drivers maybe (Disabled), or the ("drivers") need to be "Updated. "Do the following; go to Control Panel, open Device Manager, click to open "Network Adapters", check to see if adapter are in ("error, disabled, or working properly etc"). "Update Drivers", and restart the computer." "I hope this help FiX it!"

Network controller driver go to service, driver download, select your model, under that above the driver list, change OS from Vista to XP Pro x32, and download the LAN driver. That is your ethernet controller drivers. Since ethernet is your network controller, I'm assuming you need your wireless NIC controller aswell, it will be listed under Wireless LAN. If you don't know/remember the make, download all of them and try each one til one works.

Network controller driver

hi Sam9,

According to the motherboard specification page at HP

the HP M7071 has an integrated Realtek RTL8101L network controller.
The driver for this NIC can be found at

You must download the version of the driver which is designed for the operating system (OS) which you are running on the M7071.

If you haven't changed the OS, Windows XP Media Center Edition should be the OS you are using and the "Auto installation program (support WinXP 64/Win98SE/WinME/Win2K/WinXP ver.681))(Submission ID: 1278018)" should be the driver you must download and install.

Hope you find this info helpful and thanks for using the FixYa service
Kind regards
