- I have the same problem with my HP. I installed a new HD and my ethernet driver is missing. The ethernet is built into the mother board. I can't get online to use the Driver Detective, so I have been looking for the driver to load onto a flash drive and then transfer it to the HP. Any help would be great. Thanks.- lastat52Mar 14, 2009

Easy way is to open the case and see what is marked on the card,
If your Network adapter is built into your motherboard, what is the brand and model of your machine.
If it is a homebrew, you can get the motherboard data with this program. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
If it is branded PC, i.e. Dell, Hp, Compaq, let us know what brand and model.
Get us this info and we can find your drivers that you need.
