Dsi factory reset

To reset your Nintendo DSi, select the settings icon (the wrench) from the menu after you turn it on. There will be an option to Format System Memory, I believe on the fourth page of the settings. This will erase all saved data on the system and return the DSi to its original software condition.

Says an error has occured when trying to open the game card. i set up the internet yesterday and after i did that am unable to open it. could it have corrupted the card?

i think you are talking about a ds or dsi? if you are it sounds like a similar problem i had. when you connect to the internet it makes a system update and that makes it impossible to play any games unless they are 100% originals, which means no r4 or r4i or anything like that. you could try, and this worked for me, a system reset of your dsi. go to settings, then format system memory. that will wipe everything so make sure that is what you want before doing it.
hope this helps

Flash Card: R4i-SDHC Upgrade from My DSi has the version 1.3E Once I boot my DSi and I want to boot my R4i it says: An error has occurred, please turn the system off, bla bla.. I...

Hello DSi Gamer,

For any errors having to do with a R4 card, never look in the manual, all those error codes have other problems that a manual would even know how to handle. If you own a real R4i SDHC, then it should work fine on the DSi v1.4u. I'd update everything including your DSi, it should be safe now, as well as get the latest R4 SDHC softwarre on a freshly formatted micro sd card.

I bet that'll fix all your problems.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.

Best of luck!
