SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Senor....You have 2 bad capacitors on the deflection board..They are 160 volts 1 mf and you may have to check the the large Horizontal cap , I think it is 25 volt or 35 volt 1000mf cap. Good Luck PS Look for 250volt 4.7 cap is bad too! DE NADA!

Tv not powering up

What voltage is present at the collector of the horizontal output transister? If the same 102 volts then you have no horizontal drive.

Compressed picture in the upper corners of my Daewoo DTQ-20U4SC TV

It sounds like you have a "pin cushion" problem. There is a "pincushion circuit in your set that causes it to make a "square" picture. Some component in this circuit has failed. I am assuming that your set is the "picture tube" type--- not LCD or Plasma. You need to have a tech check it for you. Stargazer

Horizontal 'pinstripe' lines on all channels

sound like the screen control on the flyback is set just a little too high. the flyback has the red wire attached to the tube. the flyback has 2 small adjustable controls. if you look close enough 1 is marked focus & on is screen. turn the screen slightly to the left & look at your picture. the screen is like a master brightness & if it's up too high you will see what is called retrace lines. good luck.
