F-2 indicates that the oven is too hot and the probable problem is a defective thermal sensor. Make sure the magnetron blower is working well when heating. Make sure that you have no metal objects in the cooking cavity and that it has something that is to be heated in it.

Microwave made a loud popping sound and had a bright flash of light. Has done this twice.

That is most likely caused by a failing wave guide cover. It is situated in the cavity and protects the magnetron.
Most dealers keep or can easily get them.
Hope that helps.

Microwave clock and duration won't set

Good Morning,
Unplug the oven and wait 3 minutes then plugit back in and check to see that it operates normally. Do not run the oven empty - place a cup of water in it. Let me know if this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

I have a matsui 320 microwave oven, had it for some years now and can't find manual, we had power cut lately so microwave went off, i just cannot remember how to set it back up. any ideas now . if i press...

If for some reason you don't have your owner's manual, I would suggest calling the dealer you purchased it from.

They may have a contact phone number for Matsui.

Otherwise, here are some sequences to try:

CLOCK SETTING

CLOCK > 1 > 2 > 3 > CLOCK

CLOCK > 1 > 2 > 3 > START

CLOCK > CLEAR > 1 > 2 > 3 > CLOCK

CLOCK > CLEAR > 1 > 2 > 3 > START

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

You may need to hit Clear or Clock first, or open the and close the door.

Otherwise, your keypad may have failed.

Please reply back with your brand and full model number so we can help you.

My MW8108p is flashing and making noises

Do not use the oven! It sounds like the wave guide cover is burned and this poses a fire hazard should you continue to use it. Have a technician look at it and if this is the problem, it is usually a cheap fix.
