Magic chef model number CSB2323AR seems to be a defrost problem. Water accumulates at bottom of freezer then ices up. Is there a drain pan on this model?

The water is from the melted frost of the defrost cycle. The drain at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer is blocked so instead of the water draining into the pan where it will evaperate,it's pooling on the freezer floor and freezing, in many case when the floor indent is full the water will leak onto the floor.By pulling the refrigerator out from the wall, there will be a tube behind the service panel on the lower right side when looking at it from the rear, that tube can be removed and cleared, then clear the nozzle it connects to inside the freezer.

I hope this helps you to stop the leak,
Gene

Magic chef frost free refrigerator leaking water down the rear appears to be coming from the freezer compartment water puddles under veg. bin and then out onto the floor do not see a drain hole in...

Generally you have to remove the back panel of the freezer. There you will find the freezer coil and fan. the defrost water drips off the coil during defrost and gravity flows down thru the drain. Hole should be in center of unit. Those drains plug up. clear drain.and make sure panels go back on correctly

Hi,

The defrost drain is located just under the cooling coils in the back of the freezer. You will need to unload the food and remove the shelves from the freezer. Take the back panel off from inside the freezer and you will see a hole just below the coils. Flush it with hot water using a turkey baster or small hose. See the link below for more details.

We have a Magic Chef CTB177GR refrigerator (no ice maker hooked up) that leaks...from where I don't know. I took off the lower back cover, it is dusty but no water present there. I pulled out the crispers...

Good day.
Water can only come from one place, where the frost is melted off the coil in the freezer during it's normal defrost cycles that occur daily.
Two styles. One style allows this condensed water to run down the back wall of the inside of the refrigerator, under the crispers and thru a hole in the bottom of the cabinet into a drain pan positioned
under the hole.
Possible missing pan, not positioned properly, or crack in the drain pan itself.
The other style drains the water to a hose mounted on the back of the machine, down and then into the pan.
Possible hose blocked, not connected properly, or the other items as described in first style.
It's a look-see type of repair.

Behind the panel in the freezer there is a drain hole that is underneath the evaporator.  It is frozen over.  Take the back panel off and get all of the ice out and run hot water down the drain until it is clear.  When the unit goes into defrost some of that ice melts and drips down thru the vent into the fridge section.
