Remove norton, if still not working, download new drivers, and do not use norton as AV software. Avast is highly recomended

My Packard Bell Easynote Z94T laptop has no audio output after windows 7 upgrade - help!

Packard-Bell.DriverUtilities.com go to device manager and uninstall the current driver. prompt will then come up stating new hardware found and will ask you to chose a location to install from. go to P-Bell site and upload driver once in the download file you can open the driver file. I also suggest you go to Microsoft Security Essentials and run a quick scan of your computer( this will update virus definitions and remedy many latent computer issues.

At first, my dvd rom is working perfectly but after some time it just stopped then it returns after many times of restarting 10-20 or maybe 30. Now same thing is happening to my audio, it says, no audio...

> Do I have a virus?

Probably not, and probably your computer also does not have one.

> Driver problem?

Maybe, but it could be the motherboard itself that is "mis-reporting" all your Plug-And-Play devices.
So, the "new" and "unknown" device cannot use the already-installed device-drivers,
and so you get "unknown hardware" or "missing driver".

There is no sound but a static, bussing noise coming from my computer speakers. they were working perfectly yesterday. could it possibly be a virus? if or if not please help.

After reinstalling/installing an Operating System you can lose the Audio Drivers or sometimes they just corrupt.. Try reinstalling the Audio Drivers from the disk provide with your P.C./Laptop. If you no longer have the disk just visit the website of the makers of your P.C./Laptop or Motherboard and download the Audio Drivers from there, after that install them.
Thumbs up please if this works for you, thanks.

Sony vgn-t340p sound card vista sound just stopped working yesterday, bottom right coner says "no audio device installed" Checked and there is no sound card installed tryed downloading it off sonys site...

Hi firebelly57,

Re-installing the Audio Driver should fix the issue.

You can download the Audio Driver from here.

Please download the file to a folder in the Computer. After that, open the folder where the file is downloaded and double click on it to begin the installation. After installing the Audio Driver, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.

This should fix the issue.

Hope this helps..

Good luck!!

Have lost all sound.Sound icon says no audio output installed but it has been and was working till yesterday.

You have to first check pysically if the sound card is not pysically tampered with.
If not then the sound drivers might have got corrupted or deleted. This can be due to the user erasing them or a virus activity.

You need to run the Driver Cd that came with the computer.
If u dnt know how to use the driver cd. get to me again and will direct u.
thnx
