had paper jam- opened back door and it came off - - 6f4b08e.jpgI know its hard to put it back i already experienced that problem before., You are using ESP5 printer is that correct? Make sure to remember th e position of the rear access door or backdoor., Noy if you want to put it back, make sure you will put first the left side of the door there should be a two tab ont he left side put that first make sure it will be insert into the two socket inside the printer., Now if its already in follow the right side of the door or the rear access door you should hear a mclick sounds it means thats its already lock.

I inserted a picture for you to able to pictureout the right position of the rear access door.

Isn't it the right side door that needs to be put back first? One description from Kodak says "right" and not "left". Anyway, left or right by itself neither comment helped. I find the tabs on the right hand side but still when it clicks it had the rubber wheels side "outside" which should not be the case. I am really angry that Kodak did not provide a good picture with explanation how to put the back that panel.

SOURCE: CONTINUING PAPER JAM

I know the problem, Its the Exit paper sensor! if u make a short circuit on the pin 2 and 3 of the CN2 when the paper reaches the sensor it wont jam. Chainging the sensor resolves the continous paper jam or try to clean it!

Please double check if all doors --- including the paper tray cover --- are firmly (repeat FIRMLY !) closed --- seemingly all such are designed as precautionary measures for safety operations.

SOURCE: 202 Paper Jam

A 202 error usually means that there is a problem with the fuser, more than likely the fuser exit sensor is jammed - either with a piece of paper, or the return spring on the sensor has stuck. Check this sensor, making sure it can return to the upright position freely. This should clear the problem. If it doesn't, or the sensor arm is broken, a new fuser should solve this problem

SOURCE: Constant Paper jams on CLX-3175FN

Where is the jam happening? Is it right at the print output tray? If it is, where only about 1/3 of the paper will comeout and stop printing, the 2nd paper sensor right about that area is defective. If you're unit is still under warranty, a service call to samsung is needed to get the part replace.

SOURCE: fuser door open on dell 1815n

If you have tried closing the fuser door (rear door) several times and the error continues. You most likely need to replace the High Voltage Power Supply (Part# WH773). Iteminc.com has this part and can ship same day. The sensor which reads if the door is open can go bad and it is part of the HVPS. Good luck!

My laserjet pro 400 color mpf m475dn printer is indicating " paper jam...open back door to clear jam," please describe how i will go about this process.

There is an access door in the back of the printer. Open the door and you should see jammed paper. If not then you have a faulty sensor or switch.

Tried to print and it says remove paper jam and press start, tried that several times, put more paper in, powered off and it stil says paper jam...opened it up and no paper i can see thats jammed..

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

Paper jam ,no paper jam found Dell 1815dn

give this a try

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  3. Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
  4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
  6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  7. If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
  8. Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  9. If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
  10. see alternative if the problem is still not solved.

alternative :
Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.

At the back of the printer... open the feeder door and slowly remove the jammed papers.... put it back and put some paper in the tray and press resume button... this will continue printing the remaining print jobs.

There should be a door on the back of your printer, scanner, copier. Open that door and see if you have a paper jame there.
