Question about Pioneer PRO-510HD 53" Rear Projection Television
First thing you may want to do is to remove the back cover, then take a voltmeter and test connection where the power supply wires meet the main circuit board. See if there is power. Chances are there is not. There should also be a fuse next to it. The glass bus fuse should have a very thin wire running all the way across the fuse.
If both components turn out ok, then check the lamp socket to see if there is power to the light bulb. If no power to the bulb, check the high voltage transformer and flyback. A service manual would be handy but do cost a little $.
If there is power to the bulb socket, but bulb is not lighting, then it is time to change the bulb
