I would say 90% of the time you just have to hit "Feature 1" to toggle the Microphone on and off. Look on the bottom right hand side of the phone while you do this. You will see the red LED go on and off. Sometimes you may need to do this operation twice.

There is a program that does control the capability of speaker phone. If it is not enabled then you will not be able to use this hands free feature.

Where is speaker on alcatel cell phone?

? Microphone? For the other person to hear you the microphone on the phone must work. You cannot adjust that. For you to hear them you need a speaker on your phone. You can adjust the volume of the speaker on your phone. If callers cannot hear you try putting your phone on the speaker, rather than handset mode so it becomes a speaker phone. Then, while talking to someone to test the phone, try holding it in different ways to see if you are covering the microphone with your fingers. Without knowing what model of phone (specifically) you have I can't figure out where these are located on your phone. You can google the model though and locate them yourself easily.

Having problem with my Motorola V365. I can not hear anything on phone. need to use speaker Help

Hi, The earpiece of the phone you are using is bad. The earpiece is a small speaker inside the phone that allows you to hear when someone calls. It is collected close to where you put your ear when you are making calls.

When you replace the earpiece, the phone will work properly.

Have a nice day.

Speaker phone issues

if you are having an issue where you can't hear someone over the speaker, go to their phone and hit feature 1 and the mic should light up and should work.

I have the BLITZ and when you call someone or someone calls yo you cannot here them at all but if you put it on speaker phone it works and speaker phone is getting very annoying.

The speakerphone feature lets you hear audio through the speaker and
talk without holding the phone.
  1. To activate the speakerphone while in answering or calling modes,
press the Navigation Key to the right.
  2. The phone returns to normal (Speakerphone Off) after ending a call
or when the phone is turned off and back on.
Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else.
