Question about HP Photosmart 2575 All-In-One InkJet Printer
The ink head is probably jammed with dry ink. wihen the head is jammed, a lot of ink will pool at the bottom right of the printer. clean that pool, and dab the black ink head with a damp paper towel, but do not rub. blow the ink head with a can of compressed air. run a nozzle cleaning, and nozzle check until the printer is printing better. the nozzle check prints out grid for each color. if the grid is complete the printer is fine. sometimes a few horizontal bars will be missing and cannot be cleaned.

Testimonial: "Many thanks - I did try cleaning the heads, and there was a pool of ink underneath as you thought there might be. I'll have another go! Yours, Jill"
