Two things in my experience: Now when you say will not load past start up, do you mean that you are booting off the Recovery Disk or do you mean that you have an "image of your drive"?

If you are using the Recovery Disk and it does not boot (depending on how old your system is or what it has been put thru i.e. over clocking, static electricity, or surge) I would replace the Power Supply based on what you have replace already and assuming you know what you are doing when replacing the components from above.

If you are using an "image" (exact copy) of your hard drive, does it go all the way up to the scrolling Windows Icon (assuming you are using XP) and then give you a quick burst of a blue screen and then restart? I have had this problem and come to find out it was a DLL driver in Windows that failed and I could not recover from it without doing a full rebuild of Windows and all the software. My suggestion to you if you have stuff on the original HD is to get another HD and start doing a build on the Operating System with the original removed. Then once you are finished with the build, turn it off, hook up the second hard drive, turn pc on and change the settings to boot off the second drive to recover you personal items.

This is all making assumptions based off the limited info you gave and may not apply. You can also try starting in Safe Mode if applicable. I just do not know how far your computer was able to boot up to, nor what your operating system is.

You'll probably have to re-install windows. I had a problem just like this. I could start loading safe-mode but then it would shut off and restart again.

INSTALL WINDOWS AGAIN...

Not enough virtual memory

Step 1:
Virtual memory is a portion of your hard drive that Windows sets aside to utilize as memory. When your RAM is over utilized, the operating system can swap pages of data to the hard drive to make more room. Swapping files, or paging, is slow, but it allows your computer to remain functional when your memory space is full. If your virtual memory space, or page file, fills up as well, you'll get an error. Fixing this issue is quick and the process is identical in safe mode or in a typical boot situation.

Change Virtual Memory Settings in Windows XP Click "Start" from the Windows desktop. Right-click "My Computer" and click "Properties." Select the "Advanced" tab and under Performance click "Settings." Select the "Advanced" tab and click "Change" under Virtual Memory. Click "System managed " to allow Windows to automatically adjust your Virtual Memory as needed. Click "Custom " to alter the memory space to your own specifications. Enter a value in MB equal to at least 1.5 times the of your computer's memory for the initial . Enter a value in MB no larger than four times your memory for maximum . Click "OK" and restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

When a user starts a computer, portions of the operating system are copied from the computer's hard disk into memory.

Windows uses a swap file (page file) as memory, and is crucial for it to operate properly. Leave alone if this is what you are referring to.

I dont know how to put music on the sandick

This seems to be your memory card, pls put your card in the memory card reader if you have that in your system if you dont have that in your system then buy an external USB memory card reader.Once you put your memory card in the memory card reader it will be scanned by operating system and you will see your memory card in my computers of your system, it will most probablly look like an hard drive, you can then copy paste your songs in that drive and you are done.

Hello, my pc is very slow and it has very few memory. If I add memory, is it going to be better ? I can't make updates for example... thank you

It depends on what you are calling memory. There are 2 things commonly called memory by users. One is the hard drive where your operating system lives and all your files are stored and the other is the "RAM" kind of like your short term memory where programs are loaded into while they are running.

If its the RAM which is low on space then it is quite possible that upgrading it so there is more would most likely help.

If it the hard drive which is low on space it maybe possible to just have a clear up of your files to free up some space.

Thanks
