I have a george foreman and want to replace my tray but i cant find any, where can i buy one from

you can just put any type of heat resistant tray or plate under it. the drip pan for mine was too small for my needs and I found a tray that is originally a barbecue utensil tray to put under it, and that works fine.

How to remove and clean grease pan on Vermont Castings model 608SB

The drip tray is accessible from the rear of the Grill. It is necessary to lift up the pan slightly while pulling it out. Or depending on how old your VC grill is, it may be located on the left end of the grill (you should see a small handle). In which case you pull it out and was you reach the end of the drip tray, lift it up slightly to remove it.

TIP: To make clean up of the drip tray easier. Spread a thin layer of Speedy Dry (It's what NASCAR & garages use to soak up oil) on the bottom of the drip pan or tray. You can purchase a bag of it, at any auto parts store, When it comes time to clean the drip tray or pan. Just remove the tray or pan and dump the used Speedy Dry in the garbage. Then, spread a thin layer in it again. Actually, because the Speedy Dry absorbs so well, you'll find that you'll only have to dump the tray or pan occasionally.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!!

What type of grease can you use in your kitchen aid mixer, and also where can you buy it. Thank you.

KitchenAid uses Shell Darina #2 grease. If you're seeing oil, it's probably because the oil has separated, and should all be removed and repacked with new grease. It is available for sale for $4.20 per tube (14 oz). With that said, the official position from Kitchen Aid is:

Normally, your mixer has enough lubrication to last the lifetime of the appliance. If through some mishap ( mixer is tipped during shipping or storage) oil leaks from the drip ring or shaft area, it can be attended to at a local authorized KitchenAid repair shop. Losing a teaspoon or 2 is nothing to be concerned about, but if there's 1/4 cup or so lost, your mixer will need repair. You may feel free to contact us at Customer Service for the most up to date listing. Call 1-800-541-6390.

If you really want to get into this, a web page discussing this situation is posted here. Of course, disassembling the mixer will void your warranty.

I hope this helps. Please rate my reply "4 thumbs up" if you're completely happy with the info. Thanks!

I have a George Forman GRP46R. I'm having a drip tray problem where the grease is going under the unit and then dripping from the bottom. Some of it goes in the tray but the majority of it goes under the...

Since I accidentally left my drip pan inside the unit and preheated the unit without checking, I am now without a drip pan. The unit really heats up fast and likes to melt plastic. Anyhow, I used a cookie sheet underneath that has a lip around it to catch the drippings. I would suggest that you place your whole unit on a cookie tray so no matter where the grease runs out it will go on the cookie sheet and not your counter.
